Can I specify a delivery time?

No. Our deliveries are couriered by a third party.

How do I know if my order has been received?

When we get your online order, an Order Acknowledgement screen will appear. This has an order reference number. It's a good idea to print out the page so you can refer back to it. We'll also email you to confirm we have your order.

Can I add to an existing order?

You can add items to your order until you confirm your payment details and complete the order. Once the order is confirmed, you can't add items to the same order. If you want to buy more items, please place a new order.

What are your shipping rates?

We have two shipping rates

Category A: €5.99 This category applies to the majority of smaller  items on pjmatthews.ie including but not limited to showers, all taps, radiator valves, plumbing wastes and fittings, bathroom accessories, heated towel rails and toilet seats.

Category B: €39.99 This category applies to the larger items on the website, including but not limited to bathrooms suites, basins, toilets, baths, shower trays, radiators and shower doors.

We offer free shipping on orders over totaling €499 before shipping costs.

The shipping costs will be calculated once you place your order and before you confirm payment.

Do I need to sign for delivery?

Yes. Our courier will require that you sign to acknowledge you received them.

How will my order be delivered?

Our products are delivered via courier. In certain circumstances they may be delivered via  P.J. Matthews own delivery service. If this is the case, we will notify you via email.

Will you install the products I’ve ordered?

No, we don’t install the products we sell. We are more than happy to recommend qualified plumbers or electricians we have worked with in the past. If you require a plumber contact us and we’ll recommend one for you.

Will you bring the products into the house for me?

For insurance reasons we are unable to carry good into your house.

Before we come, don't forget to measure your doorways, hall and stairs to check your items will fit!

PJ Matthews  cannot be held responsible if the items you order do not fit in your home.

Some of the items on my order were not delivered.

It may happen that some of the items on your order were out of stock. If this is the case we would email you notifying you of the out-of-stock items and provide you with an estimated delivery date.

These back-order items will be delivered to you at no extra cost.

One or more of the items I purchased are damaged, what do I do?

If one of the items you received is damaged, contact us immediately.

You will need to send the item back to us and we will arrange for a replacement item to be sent out to you.

Can I return a product, exchange it or get a refund?

Can I place an order from outside the Republic of Ireland?

Yes, you can place an order from outside Ireland but we can only ship to an address in Ireland at this time.

Does PJ Matthews deliver outside the Republic of Ireland?

No, not at this time

Are my personal details secure?

Yes. Shopping on PJ Matthews Limerick is as safe as shopping in store. Your bank card details will be encrypted to help keep them secure.

Please note that we will never ask you for your full Username, Password or bank card details via emails or pop-ups, or for any purpose other than registering or placing an order on PJ Matthews Limerick.

How can I pay for my items?

You can pay online with most major credit or debit cards, including MasterCard, Visa Credit Card, Visa Debit Card, Visa Electron and Maestro.

What should I do if my credit or debit card was refused when I placed my order?

If your card was refused, resubmit your order using a different card. For details on why your card was refused, please contact your card issuer.
